I promise you! The writing is on the wall. As we experience more and more climate disasters many of which will be under predicted because of all the cuts to weather systems monitoring and forecasting it will be only the areas that fall in line with trump loyalists that will receive any federal aid. All blue states will be blamed for not being prepared enough because of bad management dei hires and woke policies none of which have anything to do with climate preparedness. Rivals. When you make everything a partisan issue you have completely divided America. There is no more unity or union and you must therefore rule by force and authoritarianism. Democracy goes out the window and people are forced to comply or deal with incredible hardships and misfortune. That is where our country is headed and it’s disgusting. Blame Democrats all you want for where we are but we have never withheld aid to red states because of partisan politics. To do so is immoral and unamerican. We are ALL Americans, not only red states. And to continue saying get in line with republicans or move out since you hate the country is most definitely Fascism. It shows how unwilling you are to accept change or other ways of life, saying can’t we all just get along and be equal is essentially saying why don’t you loose you’re culture and heritage and identity so I feel secure in mine, come to my side and act more like us white Christian’s and then we can all get along but do anything outside that and we will imprison you deport you, unhouse you, deny you any aid when disaster strikes, kick you off all
Government assistance even tho you’ve paid into taxes your whole life and qualify, we will s**t down your free clinics and research centers, and we will privatize America by the dollar and for the dollar. We’ve skewed so far from the path our forefathers set for us it’s insane. People’s constitutional rights are trampled every hour yet it’s just normalized now. Why would t you just comply when an officer tells you to do something, well if it’s unconstitutional that’s why. But to my point this is the writing on the wall and the reason they cut all the forecast funding so that disasters hit unannounced city’s and communities are ruined then the banks buy up all the property while the victims have their claims denied no federal aid and are displaced loosing everything they worked for to the investment machine. This is capitalism run amok. It must be stopped
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz spoke on Monday about the devastating flash flooding that swept through the state’s central region, describing his call to President Trump in the early hours of the flood.
I said, ‘Mr. President, everything we’re hearing right now, this appears to be bad, really bad. There may be a very significant loss of life unfolding right now in Texas,’” Cruz says he told the president over the phone.
According to Cruz, Trump replied, “Ted, anything that Texas needs, the answer is yes. Whatever assets you need, whatever resources you need, yes, let us know and we will provide everything.”
“Within hours, we had helicopters, over a dozen helicopters in the air,” Cruz says of the search and rescue efforts. President Trump signed a major disaster declaration for Kerr County on Sunday morning.
At least 89 people are dead and dozens are still missing, officials said on Monday, with water rescues still taking place along the Guadalupe River. At least 27 campers and counselors from Camp Mystic have died, the camp also announced Monday.
