I graduated from high school and started college classes at Truckee Meadows Community College. I married and gave birth to three children here. I moved to California and finished my bachelor's and master's degrees. I also earned teaching and administrative credentials in order to teach high school math and later become a high school principal and then later was promoted to a director position. I have moved back to Reno after retiring. I remember the day I went to the DMV to get my Nevada license and they said "Welcome Back!" That made me feel like I was back home. My husband and I enjoy hiking, biking, and camping throughout Nevada. The Sierra mountain range is a place to re-charge and be grateful for the beautiful place we live.
