OUR PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Black Coalition for Housing is to increase generational wealth and neighborhood revitalization through homeownership for Black and underserved urban communities through providing education and technical support services and through the acquisition, rehabilitation and sale of real estate.

OUR OBJECTIVES:
To challenge and reverse the negative impacts of institutional bias and prejudice in housing and community development that has historically and continues to overburden and target minority communities.
To improve quality of life in communities of color through advocacy, education, financial literacy, housing, credit counseling, job training, and expanding local, minority-owned business capacity and opportunities.
To increase access to affordable, quality homes for Black and Brown families earning 80% - 120% AMI; attracting middle class Black and Brown families back into urban and suburban communities across the country.
To support commercial development of amenities through acquisition, rehabilitation and sale of residential properties for home ownership, increasing residential density, the tax base and economic growth.
