This Friday, hundreds of Baird & Warner agents will take to the fields and participate in a grueling series of simple challenges, raise money for charities and generally just have a great time at BW’s 5th Annual Field Day!!

Baird & Warner gives me lots of opportunities to give back to my community, but this is my very favorite of those. This year my team is competing for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and I am so excited to be supporting this incredible organization which leads the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer; as well as other life-threatening illnesses for kids.

Families never have to pay when their child is treated at St. Jude, and today I am asking if you can spare anything to help reach our fundraising goal for this amazing cause.

With 2024 officially in the books, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for all of you - and my amazing clients who put their trust in me to help them find, rent, and sell their homes over the past 12 months!!

It’s not lost on this broker, that the optics surrounding the real estate industry were… let’s say “not great”… for much of 2024. Amidst a (definitely, partly justified) national publicity crisis, and a fairly large shakeup to the formal relationships which need to exist between buyers and their brokers midway through the year, *26* clients still trusted me to help them navigate the homebuying, selling or leasing process and I don’t take a single one of those relationships for granted.

It was also a year of massive change and progress for Baird & Warner, the brokerage I’ve been lucky enough to call my “work home” since I started in real estate. From a complete rebranding; to the continuous opportunities they provide for me to give back to this incredible community; to re-establishing themselves as Chicagoland’s largest independent brokerage: I couldn’t be more proud to work out of the office and brokerage I do - with the kind, generous, brilliant people I’ve been lucky enough to call my colleagues (also, my excellent partner attorneys and LOs - you all know who you are).

Professionally and personally, 2024 was my very favorite year and the best part is… I really believe 2025 will be even better. There are always challenges to overcome and we’ve got our fair share on the horizon, no doubt. But I have felt so inspired by the people - clients and colleagues - that I get to work with every single day, and you all have given this broker a reason to wake up every morning with excitement, gratitude and optimism about what we can do together.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks (with a bit of daycare-holiday season sickness peppered in for good measure), but I wanted to say: thank you, from the bottom of this now-40-year-old‘s heart, for the birthday wishes and seasons greetings we received from friends, family and colleagues. From the best dining experience of my life (gracias to my amazing wife for putting that together) to festive hangs with my real estate family, to watching an excited 2-year old unwrap and truly lose his marbles over every single gift - I couldn’t have asked for a better close to the year.

It’s been an incredible year - full of growth (which, it turns out, CAN happen, even when I’m old as dirt); personal and professional wins; so many new experiences; and watching our little peanut turn into a chatty, adventurous, loving and opinionated little boy. I couldn’t be more grateful for the people in my life and if you’ve read this far, chances are you’re one of them.❤️

“Year-end”, real estate-y post will come tomorrow but I wanted to just say how grateful I am for each and every one of you!
