They prayed and left it in God’s hands.

An outdoor family. Homeschoolers. They needed a real lot — somewhere their kids could swim, bike, and live in the sunshine. Their heart was set on Lake Zurich but they were open to exploring the north suburbs.

We toured for hours at a time, day after day, late into the evenings, suburb to suburb.

We submitted on a home that could work and lost to multiple offers.

Spirits were low. Fear crept in. They started to wonder if it was ever going to happen.

Then one day they were touring with berto while I was doing a CMA and I found it!

Just slightly above their search price cutoff. Double lot. Brand new. One block to a private community lake. I added it to the tour without even asking.

Berto pushed the key in the door. Before they even stepped inside she says “this is the one.”

Multiple offers. Competitive strategy. We won. 🏆

No compromise. No settling. Every box checked and then some. Exactly what they prayed for. 🤍

This was a beautiful day. Grateful to be part of their journey. But this is only half their story. 👀

Happy Fathers Day to my husband and best friend. There is nobody like this man. Nobody.

He doesn’t just say family first, he lives it. Every day, without being asked. His favorite place to be is with us, and I don’t take that for granted anymore.

He shows up for every moment. He checks on our hearts and souls. He pushes back against everything toxic men are taught to be and just chooses better. Every time.

He keeps this house moving when I’m falling apart and smiles at every crazy idea ready to execute.

Today I lost a piece of my heart. My beautiful abuelita. The woman who helped raise me, who taught me how to speak Spanish, the woman who taught me how to be a mother. Our matriarch and the strongest most fierce woman I’ve ever known. She only knew love & faith, she loved her family immensely and god faithfully, and that love and faith flows throughout our family today. I’m so grateful for everything you taught me Abuelita and so happy I got to spend these last few months with you. I’ll never forget our Tuesday chats. Siempre en mi corazón abuelita ❤️I love you
