CLOSED in Woodridge! Huge congrats to my sweet west suburban clients, who didn't just buy their first home recently - they also welcomed their third child last week! Mama and baby are happy and healthy with help from big sisters, while dad is hard at work painting and prepping for them to move in soon.

This transaction wasn't even supposed to happen - we started out looking at rentals! But after a closer at the numbers, it quickly became clear that buying was a smarter decision for this growing immigrant family looking to put down roots in the US for the long-term. It took a few tries given the highly competitive Woodridge market but thanks to a lot of patience and perseverance, WE DID IT! And I hope they're happy in this lovely home for many years.

My hugely supportive managing broker described me as "tireless" to someone the other day after coaching me through this one, and she's not wrong. 🤣 I also heard my son say once, "Mama, never, ever gives up," and I'm pleased to say that that tenacity really paid off here.

Gotta love that "today is a good day" feeling.

✔️ Had two closings this week...
✔️ Just got the fully executed contract back on a great house for my buyers who've been on the hunt for a while...
✔️ Wrapped up attorney review on a deal closing next month...
✔️ Had a call with a financial planner about retirement and making smarter money decisions...
✔️ Enjoyed an awesome lunch with my husband...
✔️ Basking in the perfect weather...
✔️ Heading into a weekend filled with soccer games, graduation parties, and showings with new clien, and a summer filled with fun travel (Belize!), parties, and time with the family...

Not too shabby. Will try to remember today on the not-so-great days. ❤️🌞😊
