Sunday Supper - Sushi Hall in Lincoln Park. A fairly new, beautifully designed neighborhood restaurant that serves delicious sushi and other Asian inspired dishes. Chef Kim, who has been a sushi chef in Lincoln Park for the last 17 years, can be found behind the sushi bar with a smile & incredible attention to detail. He prides himself on serving great quality food at prices that are affordable. Menu features classic rolls that have been perfected over the years & plenty of other items just in case you’re not feeling the sushi vibe. Get their hand rolls - actually, get one for each hand *chefskiss* We stumbled in here during their happy hour & we’re not disappointed. They just got the “Best of Chicago” award from Chicago Reader - well deserved!

Sunday Supper - Bungalow by Middle Brow located in Logan Square. Pizza & beer!? Name a better combo, I’ll wait… It is a brewpub with a light & bright attitude serving fresh baked bread & pizza. We sat at the bar so we got to see the dough turn into our pizza right in front of us! The menu is small which allows them to focus on the quality of every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Seasonal ingredients definitely shine on their menu! Check out their seasonal selection of beers & don’t miss the Bungalow Negroni made with their house lager.

Sunday Supper - Daisies at their brand spanking’ new location in Logan Square (just a few blocks from their original spot). The restaurant is beautifully designed to flow seamlessly all the while feeling open & cozy. We started at the bar with delicious cocktails - get all of them, you won’t be disappointed. Once at the table, we moved on to pastas & I can honestly say each one was a hit! Their lamb shank *insert chef’s kiss*. Also, they just opened their bakery counter with lots of yummy deserts 🤤 In fewer words, go there now - but make a reservation, they’ve been busier than ever. Pro tip - get the Tripe Stufato. Just do it.

Sunday Supper - La Boulangerie & Co located in Logan Square. A traditional French bakery and cafe where all the breads, pastries, galettes, and crepes are made daily from scratch with organic flour imported straight from France. Offering lots of incredible pastries along side savory sandwiches & other French inspired menu items. There are two other locations in the city - Ravenswood & Humboldt Park.
P.S. excuse the late post… phone was dead… no one is surprised 😅
