Regardless of the election outcome, the real estate market is going to be WILD in 2025 as rates come down and demand increases faster than inventory.

When Carrie first started her home search, there were a few definite “must-haves” on her list:

“I was looking for a bit more living space and definitely more outdoor space, as well as a quieter block. Having space to entertain was important to me in addition to more inside hangout spots, too.”  

She was both buying and selling, so while she decluttered her current space, she actively toured new properties as they came up. 

Soon enough, the perfect townhome became available—and they moved quickly to put in an offer.

“Meg knew me and my taste so well that she told me she could envision me in the townhome I ended up buying, before I could even find it on a map (I had never heard of Wilmot Ave. until Meg made me walk by it!),” she laughs.

Now she’s living out her hosting dreams in her home in Bucktown, just minutes from the 606.

What she loves the most?

“More space! I can now fit my entire family around the dining room table instead of making some of them eat off plates on their knees on the couch!”
