This morning I read a CNN headline that asked, “Should you sell your home now or wait for the Realtor settlement this summer?” This headline is obvious clickbait, designed to drive traffic from scared homebuyers, but what angers me the most is the misinformation in the second paragraph, indicating that the 6% commission will be eliminated come summer. As we know, this simply isn’t factual.

As the number of homebuyers questioning the benefits of using a Realtor grows, I thought it would be helpful to have a list on hand that outlines just a few—well, 67—reasons why even the most seasoned home buyers will still find value in working with a real estate agent:
