Sometimes being a good realtor means saying things that are unexpected, getting excited about silly things, and bringing you back to reality when needed.

1️⃣ Pointing out the negatives when necessary, and not letting you get blinded by cosmetic upgrades.

2️⃣ Why do I want to know the details of your day-to-day? Because buying a home is a lifestyle, and I want you to be happy with the fit.

3️⃣ A whole room and not just a laundry closet?! Yes please!

4️⃣ Truly a gold mine 🪙 They often know more than the listing agent, especially if they've lived on the block or in the building for a long time!

5️⃣ Ok, maybe not NEVER. But, pretty darn close! Even in competitive situations, I want you protected from disaster.

When you're buying a home in Chicago, especially as a first time home buyer, all of these details matter! My goal isn't just to sell you a house, but to help you make a decision you feel comfortable with for many years.

2026 buyers are purposeful & intentional. They're looking at the details of the home, but also how it feels. Here's what I'm seeing:

1️⃣ Kitchens with storage, prep space, and a layout that makes sense. It doesn't have to be brand new, but clean, cohesive, & functional.

2️⃣ Primary bathrooms are like personal spa getaways. Bright, simple spaces, and walk in showers are winning out.

3️⃣ Community is a huge one! Buyers want walkability whenever possible. They know they're buying more than just a house, they're buying a lifestyle.

If you're considering selling this year, the question isn't, "Should I renovate everything first?" It's, "Is my home positioned around what 2026 buyers value?" And that's a very different conversation.

I'm not here to just sell you a house, I truly want to support you through the decision. That might mean extra calls or texts. Even a mild spiral before making an offer where I need to talk you off the ledge 😆 Sometimes it means changing the plan, pausing the search, or reevaluating priorities. And that's totally ok! I'm here to be the steady rock in your corner through it all.

Five years in and I'm just getting started! Thanks for being a part of my journey 😁

1️⃣ The deals I'm proudest of aren't necessarily the most expensive, or the fanciest homes. They're the ones where I've made connections, and even become friends with my clients (and been invited to weddings!) People feel supported, understand that I truly care, and the bonus is that helps my business prosper in the long run.

2️⃣ Problems are inevitable. It used to freak me out, it felt like life & death. But now I know I've got the skill set to handle them, so there is no need to panic. I'll ensure my clients are taken care of as we navigate whatever comes our way.

3️⃣ Honest communication for all! I've learned to have an open line of communication with the other agent from the jump. Truthfully, most problems come from confusion not actual conflict and Win-Win solutions exist.

4️⃣ Clarity for buyers and sellers is key! It's normal to have some fear or anxiety when you're buying or selling a home. Explaining the process up front, and letting people know what to expect is so helpful in calming those nerves. When clients understand WHAT is happening and WHY, they can make clear headed decisions.

5️⃣ Ain't this the truth! The challenging deals are the ones that shape me, and teach me the most. Whether it's financing, inspection, buyer/seller disagreement...these situations force me to come up with creative solutions and fill my toolbox with ideas for the future.
