Showing homes in the far NW burbs to my buyer and saw this traditional church steeple rising up in the clouds behind the trees in the hilly Barrington Lakes/Lake in the Hills area- so pretty! Was encouraging to me. Somewhere, somehow we will find this particular buyer just the right house… someday! 🙏🏼 Even in IL, there are great water properties!

When the home is priced right, clean and move-in ready, and in a great location- it does not matter if every room is not updated or if the paint is not your color… Savvy buyers today recognize that with a little paint, lighting updates, and maybe a countertop they can get a great house for a great price, build equity for themselves with just a little work or spend, and have just the kind of house they want! Pricing it right is key and we have received great feedback and the strategy is proving itself out over this busy weekend.

Took a trip to Florida both coasts early this month to visit family in three locations. It struck me that homes can be so different - a single family with a yard and a pool, condo with pool view, condo with ocean view, a boat or yacht can be home, a high-rise, a little apartment like we had when we started out...
Blessed that the homes where we stay in Florida are beautiful inside and out and that water features prominently in each and that the beautiful people in each home make each a lovely place to be.

June 14 is Flag Day- today is the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army! We fly our American flag proudly at our home. We love this country and the dreams and freedoms provided by our constitution and kept by our military- not least of all to own land and your own home! God Bless the USA.

Today… honored to be invited by the Rate guys to the Rate box at Rate Field for a White Sox game. Love this ballpark. We had some exciting HRs but the Mariners won in the end- Mariners from Seattle like cool, grey, rainy days so that explains it I am sure. Made some good new and re-connections with friends and new people. Networked and talked shop, rates, the market, deals, and strategies. Took my hubs along today as he is a lifelong White Sox fan and my biggest fan and I his. Midweek day date with my favorite person while working for the win!! Thank you Don Hampton and Matt DelGuidice and Matt Paradis for the invite!!
