I really enjoyed the Evanston Wine Walk on Main Dempster Mile- What a neat event!

I had the pleasure of walking around the area, checking out a number of small local businesses that make the southeast area of Evanston so special! Wine tasting and snacks at each stop, was just a plus 😉

Being newer to this neighborhood, I didn’t realize how many wonderful places there are just blocks from me. I am thrilled to have found some of these gems!

Not to mention, the profits of this community organization event benefits the Shorefront Legacy Center. There is great history provided through the walk regarding notable Black Evanstonians.

Highly recommend looking into some of these community events that take place in the Main Dempster Mile area!!
