What are the new restaurants opening in Chicago this summer? 🍔
1. ADALINA ✨
912 N State St, Gold Coast📍Italian Restaurant 🍝 bringing fun vibe, modern amenities and ambitious food from Chef Soo Ahn!
2. AMAN ✨
1934 W Chicago Ave, Ukrainian Village 📍
Chef Zubair Mahajir will try to redefine how Chicagoans feel about Indian food - BYO spot serving composed dishes such as a variation of the tandoori fried chicken, but casual offerings will continue to be available during the day!
3. Bronzeville Winery ✨
4420 S Cottage Ave, Bronzeville 📍
The South Side of Chicago doesn’t have many options for a good glass of wine at a bar or a restaurant, but the owner of the Silver Room, the iconic Hyde Park store, wants to change that! Eric Williams along with urban planner Cecila Cuff and sommelier Anika Ellison formed a dream team to bring Bronzeville a wine bar / restaurant with a chef’s counter!
4. CLAUDIA ✨
1952 N Damen Ave, Bucktown 📍
In the space where was previously located Stone Flower and Takashi, progress continues on the home for Claudia - fine dining pop up from Chef Trevor Teich - with the upstairs restaurant and the bar in the back!
5. HOT DOG BOX ✨
4020 N Milwaukee Ave, Portage Park 📍
Founder Bobby Morelli and his 9 year old daughter Brooklyn debuted last summer inside a 400 square foot container in Bronzeville’s Boxville marketplace and quickly formed a fanbase with over-the-top filet mignon, salmon and turkey dogs topped with sweet or savory sauces! They are now working on stand alone in Portage Park featuring a larger menu along with some seasonal options!
6. THE X POT ✨
150 W Roosevelt Rd, South Loop 📍
This project was announced back in 2019, now it seems like the robotic invasion will still happen inside the Roosevelt Collection in South Loop, late August this year. They are known for experimental meals using art projected on walls and ceiling along with robotic servers 🤖
