Our housing is available May 28-Aug. 4, 2013 in Thomas Beckham Hall (TBH). TBH is located in the heart of University Village just steps away from over a dozen shops and restaurants. Access to public transportation is right outside your door allowing you quick access to the Loop, Lakefront, and the rest of the city. You will be living with other students from around the world, who are alsointerning

in Chicago. You will have your own SINGLE room in a 2- or 4-person apartment where you will share a bathroom, kitchen and living room with the other intern(s). The entire apartment comes FURNISHED! We will provide you with FREE LAUNDRY, INTERNET, and CABLE access, 24-hour security, a computer lab, and vending machines. Extended housing dates available by request. This will be done in a case-by-case manner.

Thomas Beckham Hall is one of the University of Illinois at Chicago's newest residence halls. It opened in 2003 with apartment style living for students and summer intern occupants.

The building lies on the university's south campus at Roosevelt and Halsted Street. Just outside of the door to Thomas Beckham Hall lies an abundance of shops and restaurants that are frequented by students and residence of the surrounding neighborhood, University Village.
