Despite what you see now, I’m the daughter of a beautiful, loving mother who didn’t always have a home to call her own. I remember seeing her walking away with no where to go, I remember crying so hard some days. I remember saying to myself, I will do for mine what my mom sometimes couldn’t do for hers.
After graduating from college, I started my journey to homeownership....After years of moving from apartment to apartment and even paying up to $1400 in rent as a single mom of 2 sons, I closed on my first home on May 6, 2009, my mom’s birthday. Since homeownership was something I wanted but didn’t quite know how to get, I believe it was all a manifestation of a vision! A vision that I walked through step by step, with my hand in God’s hand.
