To know me, is to know how I feel about this woman. To know her, is to know how she feels about me. Today makes 11 years and we’ve learned quite a bit…. Eric Benet’s “Real Love” song sums up a lot of my sentiments… he opes with “Cherish, a word that could describe how our love has stood the many tests of time in our lives”. … goes on to say “In a world full of make believe
We got something real“…. And the line that speaks to me the most… “love you, not just for who you are
But for the way you made a better man out of me“… As I reflect on that and the 20 years together, I know - there is NOTHING we can’t overcome together… The reality is marriage, is hard as hell - it’s work, but worth it… It’s dark days- but exponentially more sunny days (for us)… we’ve dropped the ball on each other- but we give each grace and continue to practice forgiveness… we don’t show up with 💯to give each other; but we say I love you every night and know that tomorrow is a new day…. God’s greatest gift to me was you …. Thank you for being you, perfectly imperfect! I love you and thank God for you baby…
