Exciting news for affordable housing in western Colorado!

Crawford Commons Apartments has been awarded 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), bringing 60 new affordable townhome-style rental homes to Clifton, Colorado.

Developed in partnership with Housing Resources of Western Colorado, Crawford Commons marks the community’s first 9% LIHTC development in 25 years and Evergreen’s first affordable townhome-style rental community.

Evergreen is expanding affordable assisted living in Ohio.

Evergreen Real Estate Group has broken ground on three new Green Oaks communities in Fairborn, Grove City and Walnut Creek, bringing 360 new affordable assisted living apartments to the Dayton and Columbus metro areas.

The developments are among the first purpose-built affordable assisted living communities to be constructed in Ohio and will provide seniors across a range of income levels with greater access to quality housing, care and the opportunity to age with dignity and independence.

With five Green Oaks communities now under construction across the state, Evergreen continues its commitment to expanding affordable senior living options and transforming communities and improving lives.

Last week, a powerful storm swept through Northwest Indiana, causing widespread damage and leaving much of Lake County without power. At Linden House of Hobart, residents were left without elevator service, hallway lighting, and a way to cook meals.

In the days that followed, Social Service Coordinator Brianne McConnachie stepped up to make sure residents had the support they needed. She conducted wellness checks, especially for those unable to leave their apartments or without family nearby to assist them.

Brianne also connected with the Community Center of Hobart and the Maria Reiner Senior Center, who generously provided meals and food for our residents.

We’re grateful for Brianne’s care and dedication, and for our community partners who came together to support Linden House when it mattered most. 💚

The Moorings Apartments recently hosted a successful First-Time Homebuyer Event, bringing residents together with trusted service providers and community partners to learn more about the path to homeownership.

But the journey doesn’t stop there. Their next goal is to help residents build their credit to 640 and beyond, giving residents the tools and resources to move one step closer to achieving the dream of homeownership.

Residents at 6900 Crandon recently came together for a Community Health Day, where they had the opportunity to connect with local organizations offering important health information, wellness resources, and helpful services.
