We’re feeling extra grateful this
4th of July weekend. 🇺🇸❤️
What was meant to be a low-key holiday weekend took a sudden turn that truly shook us.
We had originally planned to spend the 4th out of town with family, but I made a last-minute decision to stay local so I could be available for my clients (always so thankful for the people I get to serve 💼✨).
On Saturday, we were driving out to Gobles, MI to meet a client and drop off some donations for a community raffle when a tractor unexpectedly pulled out from a driveway with very limited visibility. The tractor’s bucket hit Bryant’s car—ripping right through the metal.
Because of oncoming traffic, he couldn’t fully swerve, but he managed to react just enough to avoid a direct hit to the passenger side window, where I was sitting. While the car has some serious damage, we walked away—shaken, sore, but okay.
🙏 We are so thankful for our safety, quick reflexes, and the moments we were still able to enjoy—some pool time with my mom & cousin Andrew, and a relaxing visit with a friend helped us wind down after the chaos.
This year, the phrase “have a safe and happy 4th” hit a little deeper.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July.
