Do you want to see a crazy stat to blow your mind?

Jan 1 2024- Feb 23 2023 we had 1523 showings.
From Oct 1 2023 - Dec 31 2023 we had 100 showings.

We have had 1523 showings in 53 days and just a few months ago, we had only 100 in 90+ days. The market can change overnight.

2023 was not an easy year, but let’s face it, no year really is.

Finishing in the top spot has been a goal of mine since I was 2 or 3 years old.
Since I was a little kid, I would say I want to be the best real estate agent of all time.
Teachers would laugh at me. They wouldnt get it. They thought I was nuts. (which we know | am)
But it was something I was always determined to do.
When I first got my license in 2006 it seemed like it would be easy to be successful.
I thought how most people thought, it would be easy.
3 months in I had a totally different view. Although I prepared my whole life to be in the business, I didn't understand how difficult it would be until I actually started to sell.
My first 3 years, I made less than minimum wage.
I was defeated.
The real estate market went to crap, and being in the business was nothing more than the butt end of a joke.
I was living at home & broke.
Those were the lowest moments of my life.
But those low moments made me who I am today.
It's in those darkest hours that you realize what you are really made of.
You can either quit
or
keep moving forward.
That's it.
And although I wanted to quit every day, I would still wake up the next day like a man on a mission.
I had a motto "If I cant get rich in money, I will get rich in knowledge" I figured the best thing I could do is learn everything I can, so that when the market turned, I would know everything one could know about the business.
And over those years, I started to get addicted to getting knocked down.
Because I wanted to prove to myself that no matter what happens, I can be stronger than the market.
I wanted to prove that it's not the market that makes the person, but the person that makes the market.
No excuses. Just results.

Flash forward to today, I have used these life memories to build one of the best teams in Chicago. I hold my team accountable to be the best version of themselves, every day.
I may push them hard, but the harder I push, the stronger they get.
I couldn’t be more proud of this team

This is just the beginning of our story 💪😎

I’m looking at 2024 as the year of opportunity
This year is going to have some big ups and some big downs
And if you understand that you can take advantage of the opportunities that the ups and downs will present
The start of this year is going to be amazing. We will see a “Spring Wave” like we haven’t seen since 22. We will take no days off during this time to take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way. We will prep our clients of the craziness and make sure they understand what happens if they miss the wave.
But once June comes, the summer shift will hit hard. The election will be brutal and create uncertainty and fear. It will slow things to a halt until mid November. This is the time where you can take advantage of the opportunities that fear brings. This is the time we will prep our clients that didn’t want to deal with the craziness of the wave & to strike when there is blood in the water.
If you understand where the opportunities are, you can win in 2024.

Happy 10 year anniversary Nicole!
We came a long way. We started dating when I was 25, we were both living at home, dead broke, and trying to start a real estate business after the crash. Whenever I wanted to quit, you always believed in me when no one else did. Can’t believe how far we have come and how much further we have to go. 3 kids & a lifetime to go. I am so glad we traded Paris for Disney 😘
