How long is an appraisal valid for?

A conventional appraisal is generally valid for 120 days while and FHA appraisal is generally valid for 180 days. It's important to keep in mind these time frames whether you are buying/selling/refinancing. Depending on the type of appraisal you have, the length of validity may vary along with other circumstances regarding your appraisal report.
