So There is a program currently being offered by one of my lending partners, The Tax Increment Finance Purchase Rehab (TIFPR) Program. This is a City of Chicago initiative that provides FORGIVABLE loans to help you purchase and renovate vacant residential properties in select neighborhoods. The goal of this initiative is to make homeownership more affordable while REVITALIZING THE COMMUNITY! Please share or tag your family and friends who may be interested in this amazing opportunity!
Here is the tea:
- FORGIVABLE loan that's completely forgiven after 6 years of occupancy
- Funds can be used to purchase and renovate vacant 1-4-unit residential properties in:
- North Lawndale
- East Garfield Park
- West Garfield Park
- West Humboldt Park
- Englewood
- West Englewood
- Auburn Gresham
- Chatham Grand Crossing
- Roseland
- West Pullman
- Morgan Park
- Eligible properties include single-family homes and 2-4 Units
- Funds can also be used for Down Payment and Closing Costs
