Article wrapped up its Summer 2026 Internship Program last week. Six talented interns joined our home office in Chicago to support teams across the organization.

Throughout the summer, they conducted market research, designed marketing campaigns, supported capital improvement projects, and helped prepare properties for the turn season. This group tackled every challenge with an all-in attitude and agility.

We’re proud of how they embraced new perspectives and thrived in a dynamic environment. Their contributions are already helping shape the future of Article.

Article held its annual Leadership, Excellence, And Development (LEAD) program last week. This conference brings together emerging talent from different property teams with the drive and skill set to grow into future leaders at Article.

Article’s LEAD Class of 2026 was immersed in a hands-on experience, gaining well-rounded insight from our leaders and building meaningful connections along the way. LEADees gained candid advice on growth, decision-making, and what it takes to lead within Article.

Each LEADee shared the key takeaways they’re bringing back to their respective properties. We’re incredibly proud to have witnessed this cohort challenge themselves and excited to see them apply the lessons they've learned.

Last week, Team Article came together to celebrate Employee Appreciation Week. Our teams across the country showed up for a friendly Article All-Star Trivia competition, reconnected over snack breaks and team outings, and spread plenty of Article blue pride.

Between the events, our teams posted shout-outs on our Employee Appreciation Wall and shared handwritten thank-you notes that reminded us of what makes Team Article special.

Article is committed to fostering a community where authenticity and diversity are celebrated every day.

For Pride Month, we hosted a special edition of Coffee Conversations featuring the LGBTQ+ voices and allies of Article. Moderated by Suede Shupe, they were joined by Austen Nazareno, Liz Amato, Jonathan Utz, and Megan Fox to uplift the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals and educate others on how to be an ally.

As Austen reflected that "community means looking out for one another - it is important to use your voice for those who have yet to find theirs," we are reminded of the resilience, resourcefulness, and joy that are integral to the LGBTQ+ community this month and every month.

This May, Article honors the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) announced "Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together" as this year's theme for AANHPI Heritage Month.

Our team members shared stories of family sacrifices and the multigenerational homes that shaped them. Those experiences became the bridge between where they came from and who they are today, with resilience, perseverance, and cultural pride laying the foundation that continues to guide them.

At Article, we celebrate the diverse AANHPI voices on our team and remain committed to strengthening communities where everyone belongs.

Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Article team rallied together earlier this month to cheer on the Chicago Cubs, and it was an afternoon to remember. The energy and commitment demonstrated on the field reminded us of how we show up for each other as we celebrated a strong start to our year. On and off the field, we’re all-in all season long.
