The latest pending home sales data points to a slowly warming housing market. Contract signings rose 1.4% in April and 3.2% year over year, signaling growing buyer activity this spring. Here's an idea ~ Might the best, largest pool of more affordable homes lie in the vast number of homes that require renovation? If so, maybe it's time to reevaluate the options to finance these homes - and/or provide some government incentives - to include the cost of renovation? (BLOOMBERG)
