🌟 New Member Spotlight 🌟 Please join us in welcoming Melanie Edfors, ARM® to IREM and the Chicago Chapter!

Melanie is an Operations Manager with Trinity Property Consultants, where she works with conventionally financed apartment communities and mixed-use properties. She first heard about IREM and was referred by Kristen Sarkisian, ARM® and CPM®, also with Trinity Property Consultants, whose connection helped introduce her to IREM’s opportunities for networking and career advancement.

Melanie was part of the IREM Chicago Chapter’s ARMTRK course last February, taking an important step in her professional development and expanding her knowledge of residential property management. She was drawn to property management because she enjoys working with people, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced environment. What began as a career opportunity quickly became a field she truly enjoyed, leading her into leadership and operations. Along the way, she discovered a passion for developing teams, improving performance, and helping others succeed.

In her role, Melanie enjoys the combination of people, problem-solving, leadership, and operations that comes with property management. She looks forward to continuing to grow professionally through IREM while building relationships and connecting with others throughout the industry.

When she’s not working, Melanie loves volunteering and planning events whenever she gets the chance. She is also a busy working mom to her 2-year-old son, Wesley, and is excited to welcome her second baby this December! Between work, family, volunteering, and event planning, life is always busy—but Melanie wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

👏 Welcome to IREM, Melanie! We’re excited to have you as part of the Chicago Chapter and look forward to seeing all you accomplish!
