After 20 years in real estate, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned isn’t just about buying and selling houses—it’s about building assets that can outlast you.
So now I’m passing those lessons on to my son.
I’m teaching him that before he buys the Mercedes, buy the 2–4 flat. 🏢
The Mercedes might look good in the driveway, but it depreciates the moment you drive it off the lot.
That 2–4 flat? It has the potential to appreciate, generate rental income, build equity, and become the foundation of a real estate portfolio.
It’s not about telling him he can’t have the nice car.
It’s about teaching him to buy the asset first… then let the asset help pay for the lifestyle.
That’s the difference between simply making money and learning how to build wealth.
I’ve spent 20 years learning these lessons through experience. Now my goal is to give my son a head start, help him avoid some of the mistakes I made, and teach him how to think beyond one paycheck, one property, or one generation.
We’re not just building a career in real estate. We’re building a legacy.
Generational achievements start with generational thinking. 🏠💰. If you want to learn the same lessons I am teaching my son call me at (312)730-8875
