Thank you to Kentucky Realtors for working with me to secure approval for three new continuing education courses in your state.

Because of your partnership, we were able to spend meaningful time together today building a practical plan of action that real estate professionals implemented immediately.

From our very first call, we knew the goal was bigger than a class. We wanted to create education that helps REALTORS® boost productivity, generate more leads, and serve clients with more confidence.

Did you know many real estate professionals are operating under capacity, not because they lack talent, but because they're dealing with the realities of aging?

I don't know if you're anything like me, but menopause introduced brain fog, interrupted sleep, and hearing loss into my daily life. And when I don't sleep well, my husband doesn't sleep well either.

That's why I don't view artificial intelligence as a replacement for people. Today NC Realtors invited me to present for their legislative meetings on AI. And I'm absolutely one of the best people in this country to do so as as a leading AI Speaker, Major Investor, President's Circle, and FPC member.

I view it as an accessibility tool.

Too many professionals avoid AI because they fear it will replace them. The truth is that AI helps us remain relevant, productive, and effective as we age.

It helps us compensate for brain fog by acting as a second brain.

It helps us communicate more clearly through captions, transcripts, summaries, and multiple content formats.

It helps us serve the one in five adults who are neurodivergent learners.

It helps us reach the millions of Americans who experience vision changes after age 40.

It helps us support those with hearing loss, different learning preferences, cognitive overload, and shorter attention spans.

Most importantly, it helps us continue serving others while also taking care of ourselves.

Thank You, Greater Louisville REALTORS® Leadership Institute. 

Today, I had the opportunity to spend time with the future leaders of the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS® Leadership Institute on a topic I am deeply passionate about: using AI to become a more effective servant leader.

One of the biggest discussions of the day centered on NotebookLM and how I use it to maintain strategic alignment with the organizations I serve.

Here's why.

When an organization creates a strategic plan, it is not simply a document. It is the result of collective leadership, thoughtful discussion, member input, and countless hours invested by volunteers and staff who care about the organization's future.

As a consultant, speaker, educator, and strategic advisor, I create dedicated NotebookLM workspaces for every organization I serve. Those workspaces allow me to cross-reference:

✔️ Strategic plans

✔️ Bylaws

✔️ Policies and procedures

✔️ REALTOR® Code of Ethics requirements

✔️ State licensing regulations

✔️ Board directives and initiatives

This approach helps ensure that recommendations, decisions, and actions remain aligned with the organization's mission, goals, and governing documents.

One of my greatest concerns in leadership is self-serving behavior. Leaders who prioritize personal agendas over organizational objectives eventually lose credibility, trust, and influence.

True thought leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room or the bully who develops rules as you go. 

It means knowing the rules, respecting the process, honoring the strategic plan, and making decisions that move the organization forward rather than advancing individual interests.

AI tools like NotebookLM are powerful because they help leaders stay focused on what matters most: serving the mission, serving the members, and serving the future.

Most people want the standing ovation. Few people want the 4:30 a.m. alarm clock.

As I board another flight, I’m reminded that the stage is only the visible part of the work.

What people don’t see:
• The regional airports
• The layovers
• The delayed flights
• Working from the backseat of a car
• Building presentations in airport terminals
• Coaching clients between boarding groups
• Delivering excellence while living out of a carry-on

This week alone includes five face-to-face and virtual engagements, and that doesn’t even include the backend work.

The week starts virtually with Orange County, from Hartford, CT.

From Hartford, we grab a layover flight and land in Southwest Indiana.

From there, it’s back to Chicago to pour into our own community at the University of Chicago Polsky Center for our quarterly community event supporting the people who support us.

Then we close the week with the National Speakers Association, where I’ll teach fellow speakers my AI Night Shift system, showing them how to wake up with two hours of work already completed before their day even begins.

And in between all of that?

Five real estate strategic planning meetings.

And mind you… This only takes us through Thursday.

Success is rarely built in glamorous moments. It’s built on the invisible repetitions. The discipline to keep showing up when nobody is clapping yet.
