What a fun few days we just wrapped in for Sotheby’s International Realty. Feeling motivated and re-invigorated after reconnecting with colleagues and friends from around the U.S. and Canada so we can better serve our clients’ real estate needs. We learned, we shared and we discussed economic factors we will be facing in the next few quarters. Thank you to our hosts and to everyone who made the last few days so worthwhile. (And memorable.) Closing day on this 4-bedroom, 4.5 bath beauty. Situated across from the lake and North Pond in east Lincoln Park, this building has the highest level of service, and a park setting on a quiet tree-lined street. Amenities include numerous door staff at all times, valet, movie-theater, library, teen hang-out spaces, private dog park, private park for kids, fitness center, pool, sun deck, etc. When a sale/purchase gets tough, which they sometimes do; it often comes down to agent experience and relationships. I’m grateful to my colleague Pam who is not on Instagram, for her professionalism and expertise! And so happy for the new owners, they’re going to love their new home!! ☀️🎉

Inspiration is everywhere here in Asheville. In this home, completed in 1898, we see so many features we all love in our homes today. Some of my favorites…Arches, black glossy finish paint with brass hardware, Chevron floors and oak ceiling and limestone fireplaces. This home cost the owner George W Vanderbilt $5m to build, in todays $, that’s $138m. Truly a magical home, if you can call 170,000 square feet a home?

It was a whirlwind of a year! Grateful doesn’t begin to describe how I feel about the clients, friends and family for their support and for my husband and kids who live with this 24-7 career. When I started this journey coming out of the great recession after seeing so many people devastated by real estate decisions they made, my goal was to be the best advisor I can be and to do my part to help people make sound decisions about their homes and investments. I’m not the biggest and I don’t have a huge team, but I certainly work every day to be the best. And if you’re looking to buy or sell outside of Chicago, you get connected to my Sotheby’s friends and colleagues who share similar values and processes. Thank you!!!
