Millie Rosenbloom at Baird & Warner Integrity - Honor - Engagement
Chicago’s Trusted Advisor on Building Wealth Through Real Estate Millie’s passion is for the people she gets to help.

“In my 30 years working in real estate, I have never seen another broker care more about their clients than Millie,” said Joe Palmisano, Partner at Palmisano & Moltz, and Millie’s go-to real estate attorney for most of their careers. When you work with Millie, you create a relationship first with an expert, then an advocate, and finally, a friend. Her client-first mentality, honed over the past 20

years, has gained her the reputation as one of the best of the best by her colleagues and clients, like Alex and his wife, Neha. “Millie and her team are top-notch; I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a home,” said Alex. One of Millie’s most memorable transactions, Neha was in labor for the duration of their negotiations on a new home.

”I was continuously amazed by Millie's availability and the attention she gave us. Millie and her team were with us every step of the way, providing just the right guidance” Alex said. In the end, Millie secured the home for less than the couple thought possible, and 40 days later, they closed. Many clients seek out Millie for her breadth and depth of experience, knowing that some aspects of real estate are only truly understood with experience and time. Having seen the market at its best and worst, Millie understands the future implications of current market conditions, and what it takes to get deals done. Millie believes that negotiating is an art form, having negotiated $1billion+ in residential sales throughout her career, and still continuing to perfect her craft.

“Real estate is in my bones,” Millie explains. “I grew up watching my parents buy residential properties as investments, fix them up, and resell them for significant profits. They did the work themselves, I helped, and we all took pride in the finished product. I learned early in life the difference between quality workmanship and a shoddy cover-up. I quickly picked up where money should and should not be invested to maximize an investment.”

Later in life, Millie was able to apply that product knowledge to development planning and pricing, which has led to relationships with landowners, investors, and builders. Coupled with her experience, Millie’s outgoing nature facilitates her creativity in bringing parties together and filling in gaps wherever needed. Millie is a broker at Baird & Warner, where she has been number one in sales out of over 2,200 brokers for the past 10 years. She was inducted in the Chicago Association of Realtor’s Hall of Fame in 2014, and is routinely quoted and featured in multiple media publications and broadcasts, including CNN and The Wall Street Journal. Actively involved in the Chicago non-profit community, Millie is a committee co-chair of the Brain Research Foundation and the Magnificent Mile Association. She is also a part of the 2nd Ward North Branch Advisory Committee. She resides in Lincoln Park with her husband, John Simon, and yellow Labradors, Mavis Belle and Mabel Mae. At the end of the day, the public and media accolades are a nice validation.

Some homes are quiet.
This one makes an entrance.

Dramatic skylights. Multi-level architecture. Natural light pouring through every level in a way that changes the entire feeling of the home from the moment you walk in.

With 2 beds and 2.1 baths, for $750K, this East Lincoln Park home is the kind of property that only comes around once in a lifetime.

Recently refreshed and completely move-in ready, the home lives with the ease and privacy of a single-family residence while still giving you everything people want from city living. Hardwood floors throughout. Two fireplaces. An attached garage. Private outdoor space overlooking the park. And a layout that feels anything but cookie cutter.

This is the kind of home people remember.
Not because it follows trends… but because it has character that’s impossible to find.

There’s something about Chicago that gets into people’s hearts and never really leaves.

Maybe it’s the way the city feels in the fall when the streets are lined with gold leaves and brownstones. Or summer nights when the patios are full, the lakefront is buzzing, and every neighborhood feels alive in its own completely different way.

Maybe it’s the architecture. The history. The feeling of walking through streets that have stories layered into every block.

Or maybe it’s the way Chicago somehow manages to feel both grand and deeply personal at the same time.

You fall in love with the skyline first. Then the neighborhoods. Then the little routines and places that slowly start to feel like part of your identity.

Lincoln Park mornings. Gold Coast dinners. Lake Michigan walks. Tree-lined streets. Historic homes. Corner cafes. Summers by the lake. Winters, although sometimes unbearable, also filled with tradition and beauty that somehow make everyone love the city even harder.

Chicago has a way of becoming part of who you are.

On the market. Under contract. 3 hours later.

Because great properties don’t just sell themselves… they need the right story.

This spectacular corner residence at the Park Hyatt already had everything buyers want: incredible natural light, sweeping lake and city views, and a floorplan that actually lives well. But it sat on the market for a year before the listing was mine. Before bringing it back on the market, we focused on the details that make buyers feel something the second they walk through the door. Fresh paint to brighten the space, thoughtful staging to highlight the scale and flow, and a strategy centered around what truly makes this home special… the light, the layout, and the location.

The result? Multiple buyers understood the value immediately.

This is why presentation matters.
Not gimmicks. Not trends.
Just knowing how to bring a home to life in a way buyers connect with instantly.

I’ve found that summer time in Chicago can heal almost anything that ails you.

At the end of the day, real estate is personal.

No matter who I’m representing, I always want both sides to walk away feeling good about the outcome. The sellers closing a meaningful chapter, the buyers stepping into an exciting new one.

The best deals aren’t the ones where one side “wins.” They’re the ones where everyone feels taken care of, heard, and genuinely happy with what comes next. That part will always matter to me most.

On the market. Under contract. 3 hours.

That’s what happens when the address is Park Hyatt.

Perched above the Magnificent Mile with sweeping lake and city views, this home already had everything going for it… it just needed the right presentation. I was actually the second broker to list this property after it sat on the market for nearly a year. After giving it the “Millie treatment” with fresh custom paint, thoughtful staging, and creating the feeling buyers are actually searching for, it was gone almost instantly.

Because in this market, buyers aren’t just buying square footage. They’re buying a feeling.

Feels like an escape...

This outdoor space is truly its own private oasis, surrounded by greenery, designed for slow mornings, long dinners, and that rare feeling of actually exhaling in the middle of the city.

While the exterior is the star here, the rest of the home carries that same intentional energy throughout, beautiful design, thoughtful details, and spaces that feel as good as they look.

In today’s market, getting a home under contract is only half the battle. Getting it to the closing table is what really matters.

That’s where experience comes in.

My closing ratio once a property goes under contract is 100% because I know how to navigate the moving pieces, solve problems before they become deal breakers, and keep momentum all the way through closing.

In a market like this, strategy matters. Communication matters. Experience matters.

I get the deal done.

Some homes stay with you long after they sell… and this was absolutely one of them.

From the moment you walked in, you could feel how intentional every detail was. Designed by its architect owners and crafted by one of Chicago’s premier luxury architecture firms, this home never tried too hard, it just quietly stunned you at every turn.

The reclaimed wood. The concrete and steel. The soaring garden room drenched in natural light. The way every space felt both calming and dramatic at the same time.

It’s rare to find a home that feels this architecturally significant while still feeling warm and livable.

What I loved most, though, was how unique it felt. In a world where so many homes start to blend together, this one had a soul. A point of view. Every room told a story.

Already sold… but definitely not forgotten.
