Congratulations to my buyers, Luke and Evelyn! This sale is very exciting because they are now first time homeowners…but what’s even more exciting is that my brother, sister-in-law, and (most importantly 😜) niece Clara are officially back home in Chicago! I was honored to be by their sides for every step in their home buying journey!

With Luke being in the military (TYFYS 🇺🇸), they were able to take advantage of a VA loan to finance their new home. For those unfamiliar with this type of loan, a VA loan is a little different than the standard conventional loan in that it requires an additional appraisal. This can sometimes create challenges, which we experienced at the beginning of our home search. But we quickly pivoted, remained optimistic, and they were under contract and are now closed within 30 days!

Congratulations to my seller Cathy on the sale of her home! This particular sale was extra sentimental…Cathy is my aunt and she actually purchased this home from my Grandma! This home has been in our family for over 60 years, so while it’s sad that one chapter is closing, I’m so happy to be a part of my aunt’s new chapter at her new home, as well as a new family’s chapter in their new home where they can create just as many amazing memories as my family and I all have over the years! 🫶🏼
