The inaugural WINGS luncheon took place today at the historic Miami Woman’s Club. We are so appreciative of Metris Bates-Coley, the President who welcomed us. A special thanks to Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez-Rundle for graciously introducing the keynote speaker, Denise Brown. Denise delivered a powerful and inspirational address, sharing her unwavering commitment to ending domestic violence and honoring the legacy of her sister, Nicole Brown Simpson.

WINGS has been Chicagoland’s largest anti-domestic violence agency providing shelter, education, and support for men, women, and children since 1985. This luncheon was to create awareness and help stop domestic violence in Miami.
