History
Bill Brennan, a native of Chicago, graduated from the University of Illinois in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. He left engineering to become CEO of Brennan’s PEB & Associates, Inc. – an environmental remediation firm located in Chicago, IL. During his twenty-two years at the firm, Bill began acquiring industrial and commercial properties – initially for
company use and later for investment. In 2011, Bill sold the family business to pursue commercial real estate acquisition and development on a full-time basis. In late 2011, Fifth Star Properties was born. History Behind the Logo
The company name and logo pays homage to the City of Chicago flag. The popularity of crowd sourcing, a process that involves outsourcing to different networks of people, gave Bill Brennan the idea to come up with a contest that allowed people to submit their ideas for the company logo. For the logo, the main concepts that he wanted to incorporate into the logo were the Chicago skyline and the City of Chicago flag. Several times over the years, a fifth star has been proposed for the City of Chicago flag, for various events of historical significance. It is Bill’s ambition that his company will one day be worthy of its name. Our Promise
