Five things we noticed in this kitchen before we finished walking through it.

1️⃣ The peninsula seats three without blocking the walkway. That sounds minor until you've cooked in a kitchen where it doesn't.
2️⃣ It opens directly to the family room and the fireplace. One continuous space, you're not cut off from the room while you're cooking. This is the layout people renovate to get.
3️⃣ Full-height cherry cabinetry with crown. No dead gap collecting dust above the uppers, and real storage all the way up.
4️⃣ Granite counters wrapping into a full backsplash return. Cohesive, and one less seam to clean.
5️⃣ Sliders straight out to the patio. Grilling is eight steps from the range. In August that matters.
