Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who wear the badge and star. Those who keep us safe and serve with courage, integrity and sacrifice.
On this Peace Officers Memorial Day, we remember the 24,775 law enforcement officers whose names are forever etched in the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. We remember over 600 Chicago Police Officers whom we will Never Forget at Gold Star Families Memorial and Park. We continue to support and love the families who have endured this loss yet carry their legacy forward every day.
