I saw The Color Purple today and wept. It mad me think: Through all life’s trials, how do you know that God is real and is with you? One way I know is through the beautiful people He’s blessed me with who love me unconditionally, who love unselfishly even if they don’t feel like it. Another way is through the way I’m able to keep it moving and keep loving through this wonderful rollercoaster of life.

I went to see my father after the movie to give him his gift and love on him and tell him “Thank you for everything.” After that I went to my sister and enjoyed the meal she prepared and shared a few laughs. Now I’m home, and I am just soooooooo grateful for God and His amazing grace. I hope y’all are somewhere recognizing God’s hand in and on your life and being grateful for all of the things, big and small, and especially for every breath you take. Love y’all 🙏🏽❤️🎄👑
