City of Chicago Down Payment Program
Looking to buy a new home but worried about the down payment? The NEW City of Chicago Down Payment Program just launched! Very LIMITED FUNDS - First come First Serve.
Must be Under Contract before Applying.
Qualifying guidelines for the Homegrown Program:
🏡 Covers the entire City of Chicago NO Excluded areas.
🏡Program provides up to $50K to $70K in assistance to cover closing costs and Down payment - depending on Area.
🏡Must qualify for Mortgage Financing and work with a participating lender.
🏡Citibank is offering up to $7,500 towards closing in addition to the the Homegrown Program.
🏡 Can not own any other property must be First Time Home Buyer
🏡 Primary residency only 1- 2 unit properties
🏡Household income eligibility limits
