What does a square foot cost around my hometown of Bolingbrook?

I thought this was pretty interesting!

I took a look at the median sold price per square foot for single family homes over the past 6 months in Bolingbrook and some of the surrounding suburbs.

Bolingbrook comes in around $216 per square foot, but check out how much that number changes just by crossing into a neighboring town!

Obviously, price per square foot isn't the only thing that determines what a home is worth. Condition, updates, location, lot, school district, basement and a bunch of other factors come into play. But it's a great way to get a quick snapshot of how our local markets compare.

Homes that are positioned correctly are moving quickly, and overall sold prices are coming in around asking price or better.

But citywide numbers only tell part of the story.
