After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Industrial Management, Ronald B. In 1971, he started The Enterprise Companies, following the purchase of several apartment buildings in the East Lakeview area of Chicago. He specialized in taking on unusual projects for adaptive reuse. He has adapted stables, local temples, soda-pop factory and a brewery into one of a kind apartment

complexes. Then, in the late 1980s, he expanded the business into new construction and development. With the assistance of his two sons, he has developed numerous projects throughout the city, several of which spurred the further redevelopment of the area. Today, with over 2,500 residential homes in the city, Ronald B. has led the Enterprise Companies into becoming one of the largest residential development companies in Chicago.
