When Your “Competition” Drops the Price 👀🏡

I always watch the new listings because that’s your real competition when you’re getting ready to sell.

This one caught my eye because the square footage and bedroom count are pretty similar to ours… but then I saw the yard, the driveway, and THAT FENCE. 😳😂

I’m not saying Stevie Wonder installed it… but I’m also not saying he didn’t.

And honestly, I was a little sad when they dropped the price because I liked where they were originally priced. But at the end of the day, two houses can look similar on paper and be COMPLETELY different when it comes to workmanship, finishes, layout, and overall quality.

So yeah… I’m still watching it. 👀
But I don’t think this one is really our comp anymore.

And yep… this first clip is the exact moment Nick told me NOT to buy this house. 😂 He wasn’t wrong — this place needed EVERYTHING.

But look at that staircase now. 😍 New oak, completely reconfigured, and honestly… it turned out so damn good.

Sometimes the craziest projects have the best transformations. 🔨🏚️➡️🏡

Rain or Shine, This Baby Squirrel Is Showing Up for Breakfast 😂

It was absolutely POURING outside, but Squishy’s little baby was not about to let a little rain ruin breakfast. 😂☔🐿️

This is exactly why that little patio umbrella has come in so handy. She was sitting there dry, eating like she had zero f***s to give while Squishy was probably tucked away somewhere sleeping. 😂

Squishy hasn’t been letting the babies come around to eat as much lately, so apparently this little one decided, “Fine. I’ll handle it myself.” 🥜❤️

She definitely got her mama’s attitude.

Hot. Smelly. Dark. Outdated. Basically useless space in a 100-year-old house.

We saw something completely different. 👀

Months of work. Demo. Framing. Insulation. Electrical. HVAC. Drywall. Floors. NEW EVERYTHING.

And now?! 🔥

We turned a nasty old attic nobody wanted to step foot in into an AMAZING, functional living space that actually adds something to this house.

THIS is why we don’t rush renovations.

Anyone can slap some paint on something and call it “remodeled.”

We actually transform houses. 💥🏡

This wasn’t built in three weeks… it’s the result of 10 months of doing it right.

I just haven’t been posting much lately. We’ve made incredible progress, and now we’re down to the siding, oak floors, cabinets, appliances, toilets, and staircase. Then it’s market time… and after seeing the competition, I can’t wait for everyone to see this one. 🏡 🏡

This was basically Alexa’s great-grandfather. 📺☎️

Technology was definitely… a few decades behind, but for its time? It was probably the coolest thing on the block. 🤣

Trust me… you don’t really know someone until you tour their house. 😂

We Took Her Back to Her Childhood Home… We Couldn’t Stop Laughing

This basement door has me asking so many questions… 😂🚪

Walking through it felt like stepping back in time…

Then we got to the basement. 🤣

The only “update” in the entire house was the basement door—and they literally shaved it down to make it fit.

I swear I felt like I was walking into Bilbo Baggins’ basement. 🏠😂
