Our mission revolves around serving residents and our community and creating environments in which differences are celebrated.

We create a luxury living experience, starting with boutique units and ending with around-the-clock emergency maintenance service (you can literally reach us 24/7). We deploy snow removal at one inch or more, which if you live in Chicago, is kind of a big deal. We regularly beautify and maintain buildings’ common areas, with 390+ art installations and professional cleaning. Residents are pleased with what we do, evidenced by a renewal rate of 80% for the past seven years.

As a family-owned Bronzeville establishment, we support local businesses, actively “green” Bronzeville through 40+ landscape installations and engage in nonprofit initiatives. Many South Side Stories team members, including Jon Mickelson (one of the owners), live in the community. Residents are our neighbors and friends.
