Jay Kauffman Real Estate Agent

Jay Kauffman Real Estate Agent Real estate should be empowering, not overwhelming. I’m focused on guiding Chicago buyers toward homeownership and house hacking wins.

Let me help you discover what’s possible! After years in IT consulting and technical services, I finally decided to branch out to something that I've been passionate about for many years: real estate. I'm a multi-property owner, proud landlord (yes, even when a tenant’s appliances throw shade), and someone who sees those challenges as opportunities to learn, build, and connect. I teamed up with Sarita and the Sarita Sells team not only because I was once a client myself (a fantastic learning experience!), but because I believe real estate should be empowering, not overwhelming. With a background in technology and project management, an education in business and finance, and years of hands-on DIY and management experience, I want to help buyers evaluate smart investments, plan their next moves, and reach the homeownership goals they weren’t sure were possible. Licensed in Illinois, I’m focused on guiding Chicago buyers toward house hacking wins and homeownership goals. Let’s build something together—whether you’re ready now or just curious where or how to start. Reach out and let me help you discover what’s possible!

All the agony of our back porch reno and I haven't posted the outcome. I installed the floor and baseboard, and did all the painting. Pretty happy with the end result!

Knew this was coming! That's not our car, fortunately. And it didn't hit the house, fence or garage.
