Starting her career in the early 2000’s, Christina worked for national home builder Pulte Homes/Del Webb for over six years. While working for Pulte Homes, Christina achieved over $65 million in personal sales volume including the grand opening of a record breaking start up community in Mundelein. In 2006, she received the Diamond Award for achieving over $25 million dollars in sales volume in a single year from the National Association of Homebuilders. Sometimes you need a pick-me up...and 90's country works every time.

Summer isn't over until it's officially over.

While CPS might be back in session, I'm still here for the street festivals and pickleball outside.

So in that spirit, here's the September R.E.P.O.R.T.

R – Reading: I just finished Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke. The entire book has been living rent free in my head all month and my mind is still BLOWN.

E – Eating: , had a really yummy oat milk latte and The Big Bird sammie was so yummy with garlic & dill spread.

P – Preparing: For my annual house party! After skipping last year when my nephew was born, it is back in action. The have been ordered, the bartender are booked and I'm still making the playlist if anyone has song recommendations!

O – On My Radar: I’m watching the office-to-residential conversion trend closely because it could fundamentally change how people live downtown.

More residents could mean more neighborhood amenities, restaurants, retail and activity after business hours—and potentially create new opportunities.

The 35 building conversions currently proposed, underway or recently completed across downtown Chicago, which could add more than 4,400 new residential units and represent over $2 billion in investment.

R – Recommending: My new dog walker Adam Solvy of . He's comes highly recommended in the Facebook groups and it's no wonder why. This isn't a fly by night Rover service. He is insured, works the neighborhood daily, is trustworthy and can take same day requests. This has been a true lifesaver in a clutch. I've been so happy to have found him.

T – Thankful: I am grateful for my Pickleball Ladies Group. I have been consistently playing with the same group of about 20 women for the entire summer and they have become some of my favorite players and partners.

This is life in Bucktown.

It's the Damen Blue Line getting you to the Loop in less time than it takes to listen to your favorite podcast episode.

It's having three gourmet grocery stores within a mile on the Tuesday afternoon when you don't feel like cooking ( for grab-and-go, for the best butcher and deli, and for groceries).

It's being a 20-minute scooter ride from your friends who live in Lincoln Park, but also Logan Square.

It's having morning coffee at , lunch at and dinner at .

None of this shows up in the listing photos.

It's why you need an agent with 20 years of experience who knows Chicago's neighborhoods inside and out.

Here's what I see...

The pre-listing walkthrough where we decided what stays, what goes, and what gets fixed before a single photo is taken.

The pricing conversation that took three rounds and a lot of honesty.

The morning I met the photographer to make sure everything looked exactly as it should.

Weeks of showings and asking people to take their shoes off 373 times.

The late-night call to talk through the first offer, and whether "good" was actually good enough.

The negotiation that went back and forth for days over things a buyer will never see and a seller will never forget.

The inspection surprises. The lender check-ins. The paperwork nobody warns you about.

And the moment I got to call and say the words you'd been waiting for.

So yes, the post says JUST SOLD. But that's the last two seconds of a very long story.
