Stop waiting for home prices to drop. They arenât going to.
If I had a dollar for every time someone told me they were âjust waiting for the perfect price,â Iâd probably have enough to buy that 'overpriced' house theyâre waiting on. đ
The idea that thereâs a magical moment when prices will drop just enough but competition wonât be too high? Thatâs like waiting for a traffic-free Monday morningâit sounds great, but itâs not how reality works.
Take the Stevens, for example. They wanted to move last year but held off because they were convinced prices would definitely drop in a few months.
Spoiler alert: They didnât.
And when they circled back, the homes they loved had gone up in price, mortgage rates had shifted, and their dream house was now just a dream.
On the flip side, the Thompsons were nervous about buying in a âhigh marketâ but trusted the process.
We focused on valueâfinding a home that fit their needs, budget, and long-term goals.
Fast forward six months, and theyâre happily settled in a home thatâs already appreciating in value while others are still âwaiting for the market to crash.â
The truth? Thereâs no perfect price, only the right price for your situation.
Timing the market is risky. Timing your needs, finances, and lifestyle? Thatâs smart.
So, if youâre holding out for that one magical moment where home prices, mortgage rates, and planetary alignment are all in your favor⌠I hate to break it to you, but itâs probably not coming.
