Before anyone steps inside a home, they meet the door. It's the first impression, the first detail, the first statement a house makes.
That's why doors get real attention at Cloudland Station. Some homes use genuine antique doors. Others use custom doors built to speak the same architectural language as the house around them — Queen Anne, Craftsman, Folk Victorian, cottage. Either way, the goal is the same: the entry should belong to the home, not just hang on it.
It's a small detail with an outsized effect. The door welcomes you in, and it tells you a little about the story you're about to walk into.
Which do you prefer — the character of an antique door, or a custom one built to match? Save this post for design inspiration, or let us know in the comments.
