Valley’s Edge in Chico, CA is an approved mixed use development of commercial, housing, parks, trails, and open space. It is a plan to allow for sustainable growth in Chico. This March the citizens of Chico will have a chance to vote for or against the development.
Some highlights are:
✨700+ acres of parks and open space
✨25 miles of interconnected trail system
✨6 miles of creeks
✨60 acres of commercial land use
✨330 acres of single-family home builders
✨230 acres of custom homes
✨10 acres of multifamily
✨90 acres for residential cottages, patio homes, courtyard, and cluster housing

As a Democracy, it is imperative to allow freedom of speech even if it means hearing from the opposing side. Unfortunately, the opposing leaders who live outside of the City limits are spreading misinformation in order to inhibit the sustainable growth of Chico- wanting to build up, instead of out. A few misinformation points from the opposing side are:
❌ NO affordable housing
❌ Destroy habitat for endangered species 🌱
❌ Massive greenhouse emissions at once
These points are simply not true. Know the facts before March 2024 and vote to approve Valley’s Edge!
