So 8 of us from C21 Select Chico helped the 20-30 Club "Shop for Students" early this morning! Carol Roniss , Jami Lopez and me, Barbi Boeger, got 3 cuties from one family. So we walked them through hair cuts, (Thanks Dimensions Hair Salon!) Eye Exams, Dental Exams, face painting, then a shopping spree. The 20-30 club gives "$100, Kohls throws in $10 plus 25% off and I always chip in. We got everything! Understuff, long pants and shirts, jacket, new shoes. Justin Jewett, Peter Tichinin, Tracey Cooper, Dustin Cheatham, & Joy, Dustins assistant, all took excellent care of their kids. There were deserving teens down to kindergartners like Carol's little guy! It was fun, and the kids we had were so shy, and mannered. The CHP Officers were shopping with kiddo's also. Fun was had by all! They had Batman and Moanna, the Frozen characters, to take pictures with! The 20-30 Club does excellent work, raising the shopping money, and organizing all the service providers. The Salvation Army or Red Cross provides a full pancake breakfast and coffee for everyone! Shiney stuff Chico people's! Shiney Stuff!
