The City of Chino is offering a great opportunity for you to get a free kit and learn more about how to prepare for an emergency.

The month of September was proclaimed National Preparedness Month at tonight's Council Meeting. September is a time to focus on preparing for the types of emergencies that can affect us where we live, work, and visit. This initiative encourages individuals, communities, and businesses to take steps to ensure they are prepared for disasters and emergencies of all types.

This year’s theme, "Take Control in 1, 2, 3," focuses on preparing older adults who are particularly vulnerable during disasters. This theme empowers everyone to:
➡️Assess their needs: Consider medications, mobility, and pets.
➡️Make a plan: Tailor emergency plans to individual needs.
➡️Engage a support network: Build a support network to assist during a disaster.

This sweet young couple humbly came and asked if we would consider allowing them to get married in the grass area of the property, since their wedding venue had closed due to the Coronavirus. They promised only immediate family, and asked that everyone in the area surrounding the grass be invited to join from their patios. Of course we said yes!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Garcia, your wedding was simply perfect!
