A good reminder to have your home tested for radon. The test kits that are mentioned in the article have historically not been very accurate. The best way to know your radon levels is to have a test conducted over a 48 hour period or longer with specialized equipment. Sounds pricey right? It’s not. For $75 I use state of the art equipment to test your home’s radon level. For reference, the “over the counter” kits mentioned in the article start at around $10, whereas the equipment I use costs $1,000. Which test do you think will be more accurate?
