When I started The Mortgage Finders I had one goal: build a place where people can go and know they are actually going to be helped to find the right loan program.

Here is something I identified early on. Most lenders do not look for every loan program available to help their clients. They offer what they have and if you do not fit that box you get a no. And a lot of people walk away thinking homeownership is not possible for them when it actually is.

At The Mortgage Finders we go through every bank we are approved with and we are approved with over 150 banks. We search for the specific programs that are going to get you to homeownership. Not just the one program that is easiest to close.

If you have ever felt like your lender was not truly working for you here is the question to ask: did you check all the programs available or are you only offering me the traditional program?

Because beyond conventional and FHA there are non-traditional programs called non-QM that can get buyers into homes who would have been turned away by a standard lender. Bank statement loans. Asset-based programs. DSCR. P&L loans. There are real options that most lenders never even bring up.

Always ask for a second opinion. Always ask what programs and resources your lender looked into before telling you no.
