While showing a property recently, I came across something many of us have dealt with, the driveway was blocked by two vehicles from neighboring homes. It’s a small issue, but it can create big frustration.

Under Texas Transportation Code §545.302, it is a violation to stop, stand, or park a vehicle in a way that blocks a residential driveway.

Most of the time, a polite request is all it takes to get things resolved. But when it becomes a pattern, it can lead to tension between neighbors and long‑term issues that are completely avoidable. A little awareness goes a long way in keeping our neighborhoods respectful and easy to navigate.

I’m curious, what has your experience been when someone blocked your driveway?

Did you talk to the neighbor, leave a note, call for assistance, or take another approach?

What was the outcome?

Sharing real experiences helps all of us learn how to handle these situations with patience and good communication.

IH‑10 Corridor Development Continues to Strengthen the Region

The IH‑10 corridor is experiencing steady expansion as new residential communities and commercial projects move forward. This growth is increasing activity between San Antonio and the surrounding cities, creating a stronger economic connection across the region.

For those considering a real estate move, this corridor now offers meaningful opportunities to buy, lease, or invest. New construction, improved infrastructure, and rising demand are shaping IH‑10 into one of the area’s most active development zones.

If you are evaluating your next step in the market, this is an ideal time to review the opportunities emerging along IH‑10 and determine how they align with your long‑term goals.

Waiting for the “perfect moment” keeps a lot of people on the sidelines, but today’s market actually gives buyers a few real advantages. Inventory is rising, sellers are more flexible, and buyers have more room to negotiate than they have had in years. Even better, you can always refinance later, but you can not go back and buy a home at yesterday’s price.

If you are planning a move this year, getting in early can put you ahead of the spring surge.
