A question worth asking before your next grocery run:
Is the bottled water in your cart actually keeping your family safe?
Here's what the research has found in just the last two years:
▪️ A 2024 Columbia University study found an average of 240,000 plastic particles per liter of bottled water — 90% of them nanoplastics, particles so small they can enter human cells
▪️ A 2026 Ohio State University study found some bottled water brands contain roughly 3x more nanoplastics than treated tap water
▪️ Researchers have detected these particles in human blood, placentas, and even brain tissue
▪️ Early research links exposure to inflammation, hormone disruption, and neurological effects
The FDA still says there's no proven health risk — and that's true. But "no proven risk" is not the same as "proven safe." It often just means the research hasn't caught up yet.
